Mapmaking Spree

Is Everyone on a mapmaking spree or has the Warcraft already past its "glory days"? I dunno if half the people who started playing this game years ago still play it even today....i wonder if its still going to be widely and timely played as Starcraft..?

warcraft is not even close ton being past its glory days... many more then 2X more ppl play wc3 then sc. and what does this have to do with mapping?
