is there a way to make warcraft 3 load maps from a different location other than the maps folder.

If that is what you mean, you can create a folder like My BEST MAPS put your maps there but must be in 'Maps' main folder

what i mean is i made a ramdrive and i want WC3 to load maps from the ramdrive instead of the folder it normally loads from.

I dont think so. Anything that is out of the folder Maps cant be loaded.

Make a folder under ProgramFiles>Warcraft 3>Maps, Name that whatever you want the folder to be and you should be able to open it from warcraft.

this is a totally different drive from the hard drive, it is a drive on RAM.

Interesting...

There might be a registry key that you can change that allows you to open other directories. I recommend looking around in there first.
