Map Icon and Enemy Health

I just instaled Diablo II: LOD on my iMac and have instaled the latest patches for it. However when i play the game, the arrow on the map showing where your character is doesn't appear and when I select an enemy, the bar showing their health isn't their. Anyone know how to fix this? thanks.
