Map Help.

U know in those Bound maps like: ActiveBound, Level Up Bound Pro and 'ThE BoUnD'. They have like Creep everwhere, but there is no Creep Colony or anything to produce the Creed. How do you do that?

hmm...dont know, me and my freind make maps sometimes...but we havent firgured that out either

it's done by going into Guedit which can be found if u browse forums and clicking

1.Open Map
2.Load Your map
3.Edit Terrain
4.Wait a while
5.Wait some more
6.Click the Creep You Would like in the mega tiles window that appears
7.Click where u want it to appear in ur map
8.Creep rite there!

Ahh... thats how i thought u had to do it. But when i try to do that... okay here ill go through the steps. i open GUEdit, Load Map, then Edit Terrain and select the map, then it says "Error: Cannot install tileset files.
what does that mean and what can i do to fix it. btw the terrain the map is Space if that has anything to do with it

Try converting tilesets, also, once the map has the square creep on it, don't re-open in a normal editor or you will lose it.

actually to fix that u just load the starcraft.exe when u click edit terrain, not ur map

how to edit terrain using GUEdit: (as well as i can remember, i lost GUEdit a week ago)

1. Run GUEdit
2. Load your map
3. Click on "edit terrain"
4. It will open a "browse" window, find the little icon in your starcraft folder that starts starcraft normally, select it.
5. You will have to wait for a minute now.
6. Keep waiting
7. Two windows will pop-up, in one you can choose the square tiles of terrain you want to use, the other let's you place it on your map.
8. Exit out of both the windows, underneath the "edit terrain" button there is a button, "export terrain" or something like that, click that.
9. Save your map as a new map with a different name
10. Exit

NOTE: do not open your map again in staredit or all your work WILL be lost.
