Making Runic Items

Can anyone assist with information on HOW to make Runic Items? I have Runic Hunter ver. 1.04 and it is an excellent source of information. However, I do not know how to make items with it.

In the Horadric Cube, one cannot enter "words" just jewels wtih items. So, how does one put in the Rune Words?

May sound dumb but I am a Newbie :baby and love Diablo 2 (ver. 1.0 not LoD). Would love to get some help here. Thanks. :wavey

This needs to be in D2 Newbies only forum, sir. Gally should be able to help you with this one.

Oh, and if my stickie in Newbies only is still in there, it should help. You have to put certain runes in a socketable item of the right number of sockets. Read that rune guide.
