Major Problem With Girl

Im not gona go into much detail but here is a short info:

Im in gr11 , gurl is in gr 9, she is kinda hot..but duno
Problem is whenever i see her, she is always around with a bunch of her friends from grade 7 or 8 and they just piss me off, they pass all sorts of rumours and basically talk shit about me and all are ugly as ****.

What happens then is i get confused with their names because i dont talk to them much and they just dislike me except this older chick.

Now half of my best friends think that i wana make out with gr 7 girls which is not true, this chick from gr9 likes me and only she wants me lolz but now i cant convince my friends otherwise.

Other problem: whenever i see this chick she is kinda shy and esont really like 2 talk, so we both end up like "hey sup" and just go other directons. Then we talk a lot on msn which is really retarded and should be the other way (talk in real life which we cant)

I see this as a problem that we just cant connect somehow, any suggestions on further actions are welcome BECUASE I FEEL LIKE A ****ING NOOB.

I've always been curious as to why it's looked at as wrong for someone oh..About 17 to date a 14 year old in school when a few laters at about 20 and 17 it's not frowned upon near as bad..

You need to learn that its us womens job to pass rumors and gossip..So you're probably going to need to get used to it.

I've dated my boyfriend since i got into highschool and he's two years older then me and now he's in college while I'm still in HS..I dont understand how my case is any different than yours. You just need to swallow your pride and get with her if you like her and not if you care what your friends think of what her friends say/think.
