Lvling your Merc.? Try the Black Marsh

If your lvling your merc.'s from nm or hell, ues the Black Marsh in hell, gains at least one lvl every countess run(if you kill all the monsters in the tower). You can lvl your merc more then 5 times a game if you kill as much in the first act.

Getting a merc. depends on the merc that your looking to get.

For best Merc. lvling purposes, you should wait till lvl 80(if you have no way of getting good gear) then lvl them in the BM.

I always took my Merc Through places like the Ice Caves and whatnot in hell. He would gain atleast two levels untikl he finally maxed with my barbarian at level 90. But yeah, they may have changed thins since I've been on, but thats how I did it. Before that, it was leveling him in the Bloody Runs of NM while everyone was doing a baal run.

I lvl mine in The Pit (nm) and then when he is around lvl 50 then i go nm cow. then When he dont get much exp in nm cow i go to hell cow. And then he should be able to lvl with me (hell baalruns).

a little secret my friend taught me for leveling mercs is in that little cave inside where pindle is in hell. killing all the guys in there usually let my guy level every few games or so

i leveled my merc in hell cows, he leveled like 2 levels untill level 75, after that it was 1 level per cow game.

Generally though, I would think that Black Marsh would be easier then Hell Cows, even while being alone in a game. Just my opinion, though.
