Did anyone else see that movie yet? That was movie was so good. The only bad thing is i think legolas got to do too many stunts.

If they believe that then they obviously haven't read the books. I for one have read all the books and I much rather prefer the movies becaue they're not so fricking boring. But I still have yet to see The Two Towers yet. And I still can't wait for The Return of the King to come out. The title of the last movie kinda rules out the Aragorn dying factor. Also I read on Monday that the director guy decided to save the fight with the spider thing until the beginning of the next movie.

It's good... the movie is kind of slow until the end, but it's nevertheless good and obviously worth going to see. Heh, I have friends at the movie theatres and get in free all the time, and see the special shows they have the night before movies come out

I never expected Legolas to die at the end though

see, i've read the books, but sometimes in movies, the writers take a little artistic license, just as no one else starts talking about nemesis, these guys on my bus were talking about it all day, what i would have gave for a shotgun

I havent seen it yet but i heard the movie isnt nothin special... not an instant classic like forest gump and terminator 2

Screw what's popular. If everything that was popular was classic, than coke, heroin, E, and about 200 other drugs would be in the "Classic" section in Blockbuster video or whatever your video rental place is.

The movie itself bears the LOTR title, hence it's going to rake in shitloads of money, however they seem to go for a lot of dazzling scenematic shots to compensate for the lack of action midway, and mid-lateway through the movie. If you're looking for a shitload of fighting, you won't find it except beginning-midway, and at the very end, with occasional laughs from a certain schizophrenic character.

If you're really that worried about not spending the $7 or $8 to go see it, then download the video recording of it from Kazaa .

The only thing this movie needed was more of those cool Cave trolls like the one in the first movie (in the mines of Moria, that really, really, really big ugly things with a club was the cave troll)

I only edited this post, because I felt it would spoil the movie for people that haven't seen it yet. It's no big problem, I just know what it feels like when someone tells you parts of a movie you shouldn't hear.

Someone told me that Bruce Willis had been dead all along before I saw The 6th Sense, and a number of other movie secrets So the movie didn't mean that much to me

My friend came up to me after he had seen the movie and said that Gollum was CUTE!!!! I mean... FFS! How can he be cute? He's uglier than the orcs.

The funniest part is when an orc tells Saurauman that the city of Rohan has unprotected women and children. As soon as that old man hears the word "children" he gets this odd little smile, i think that old wizard is a pedaphile.

anyone who watches the movie sure as hell better read the books, because if they don't the storyline is a big hard to follow. they strayed from athe plot a bit, like making their rescuer female (with the horses of water in the river, that was a guy in the book) and making aragorn (aka strider) have a romance with her. i guess it spices the movie up a bit. but why isn't tom bombadil in the movie? i know some guys wouldn't mind the girl who lives with him being in the movie.....tom was cool. yup.

okay, so.....like i said before, if you haven't read the books and you want to watch the movies, please read the books. otherwise it's hard to hold an intelligent conversation with those who have. also, ENTS RULE!!! what of the entwives, though? ah well. i was thinking the battle in helm's deep would be pretty sweet......but pm me if you have spoilers, i don't want to ruin the experience for anyone else. is orlando bloom looking about the same? he does look so different normally, though....i mean without pointy ears, a bow and quiver, and the whole blonde wig.......*drools like.....no, that's been said. i'm just drooling. or ogling, if you will*
