No, i'm just looking for some because of the subliminal messages in the movie I just saw.

I listen to Sirius Satellite Radio, on which they have 5 all electronica/techno songs, so I've got 24/7 commercial-free techno.

A couple of my favorite "more current" songs I've heard on there include:

Paul Van Dyk - Buenavista
Ago - Tell me where you are

Both high-energy trance-techno songs. Not laid back at all like Trance, but they still have that smooth transition feel to them.

Scooter.

That has to be one of the coolest HARDCORE techno bands ever. How can you not love songs that shout out "the purple cow" and "I am the Drumless soldier"? That would also be harcore German techno.
