my system is like 2-3 years old (as far as i know it can handle up to wcIII pretty well but then again thats not much) and it simply can't handle that newfangled high graphical blah blah, (and i aint gonna fork out a couple hundred dollars to get another just yet)

any recommendations for older games for the pc that are good/fun? (dont recommend things like starcraft, diablo, hl, aoe cuz i've already played those heh)

for the time being i'm playing ff8 on the pc...

eh i'll play anything that works (and is remotely good), single player games would be nice since i haven't played one in a while.

try out Delta force, that one is good.
you have to try Rogue Spear. Old-school game, but many many hours of play. and there are A LOT of mods for it. NATO is the best :)

Total Annihlation.
Duke Nukem.
DooM I and II.
Army Men in Space.
Army Men II.

About sums the list up. Especially play Duke Nukem games. Total Meltdown version preferably. That game is pretty graphic. Blood, sex, nudity, guns, basically everything. The graphics aren't ''TEH HELLA GOOD!'' but they're pretty nice for it's time. :)

NWN is definately free from what I've seen. I'm not asure about Dungeon Siege though. NWN is awesome though, I used to play it a lot before I bought Diablo II. Big Mistake there. -_-

Dungeon Siege does have its online play but Neverwinter Nights has a way better online play.

Neverwinter Nights has a site where there are online games are schedule and there are lots of games that aren't schedule.
http://www.neverwinterconnections.com/

There is also thousands of Modules out there for Neverwinter Nights such as whole new campaigns.
