Looking for info on Barbarian's Blades

I play a Barbarian and use the Whirlwind skill to kill my opponents. I use two blades (the Atlantean and another I forget, Pain someting).

The blades are adequate as I can kill Hell Cows but I wish I could deal more damage.

What would people reccomend for upgrades to replace these two? (I dont have access to Diablo 2.net).

I hear alot about a 'lightsaber' and 'grandfather'...however I get the feeling these are really elite/hard to find/get items. Is there something in between perhaps I should look forward to?

lightsabers r not hard to get. You can get them for 1 soj or less

well im guessing ur somewhat new if u didnt no the value of a lightsaber, cause thats common knowledge. So u probally arnt loaded in sojs, i may be wrong, but if u want u can get "Swordguard Executionor" sword, its not as good as a light saber but its better than the ones u said u had. And if u do have about 3 sojs, u could get doombringer.....does a shitload of damage. I'll list the prices for u (this is USeast):

Swordguard: less than 1 soj
Lightsaber: less than one(if shitty)-1 soj
Doombringer: 2-4 sojs
Fury Balrog Blade: not sure but its better than doom
Grandfather: 10-20

you could always try to craft yourself a Cruel Colossus Blade (CCB).
To do this, place a colossus blade into the cube with 3 chipped gems and it will spawn with random prefix's and suffix's. Keep transmuting until it spawn as Cruel. It may take a while though.

that it will, and it will also take a lot of chips. if you dont have enough, you can always find some in act1 normal.

or you can do cows with gem activated So GF is the best barb weapon?

if you want a perfect doombringer its like 8 SOJs (perfect ED and LL) grandfathers are 20, and i think fury BB's are like 15.
