ok it isn't funny at all....my laptop was having problems with reading dvds already(could read sometimes, and if did, i had to restart like 4 times before it could read another) not knowing what was wrong, and really wanting to watch this new porno i got, i uninstalled virtual clonedrive to see if it was conflicting, and after that my pc wouldn't even recognize my cd drive at!! so i restored and now its recognizing it again, but im too afraid to even test out a dvd for fear that ill be stuck here again trying to get my ****ing windows to respond ****, if you lead me to the answer ill surely make a pretty picture for you, or something else....no rly i need help

ok first u need to refortmat ur drive then reinstall it and it will work

if you CANT get it fixed, u may consider doing that, as weve already discussed its probably a hardware issue at first glance, but because of the Vdrive it could be software, in which case his answer will fix it
