LLD lvl 9 asn
You need a hell rush for this guide.
Str: 48 (50 with gear)
Dex: 44
Vita: rest
Energy: none
9 in tiger strike (ts)
9 in claw mastery
2 in burst of speed (bos)
gear: rich
weapon: fine blade talons of self repair (eth) – enhanced dmg, ar, eth mod. Best weapon for a lvl 9 asn. Soc and pray for 2 sockets. Put in 2x 20ed/9 max jewels or put in 2x 14 max jewels
helm: biggon’s bonnet with 20/9 jewel or 14 max jewel
armor: superior light plate (15 ed) with 3x 20/9 or 14 max jewel
shield: pelta luna – best shield for a lvl 9 asn. Socket with 20/9 jewel or 14 max jewel
boots: hot spurs – 3-6 fire dmg 45 fire resist and 15 life are very useful mods
gloves: death set gloves 75 pd reduce and 50 pd resist, 30 ias with the belt and 8 ll
belt: death set sash cnf and with the gloves 15 all resists
rings1 + 2: 76+ ar rare rings. Must be 76+. Most rare rings with 76+ are clvl 12 but some slip by and u get clvl 9. usually it’ll have bad mods besides the 76+ ar. Usually find mana with it and if your lucky max dmg and str/dex
ammy: rare 25+ ar with dex/str and max dmg if your lucky.
Gear: poor
Weapon: superior blade talons (15 ed) 3x 9 max jewels
Helm: superior mask (15 ed) 3x 9 max jewels
Armor: superior light plate (15 ed) 2x 9 max jewels
Shield: pelta luna 3x 9 max jewels
Boots: hot spurs
Gloves: death gloves
Belt death gloves
Ring1 + 2: 75 ar nagel
Ammy: 26 ar or 5 dex magical ammy
Charms:
9 15 life lc with a second mod of ar (bronze), mana (lizard’s), or septic.
1x bronze lc of frost
2x bronze lc of dex (3 dex)
4x 12 fhr gc’s with second mod of ar, mana, or 1 max
4x bronze sc of shock (1-6 lightning dmg)
for a lvl 9 dueler u really need attack rating. 1.2k is the minimum ar u should have (with ts). 1.4k would be good. 2k would be your goal though. Some people like to use tin jewels of wrath for extra ar instead of the extremely hard to get 20/9 jewels.
Strats:
These strats are for going against true lld chars not noob chars that have low quality items on.
- Always have bos on
Lvl 9 asn: these are fun. It’s blocking contests to see who can block the most and who has the most ar. Use ts until u get 3 charges and then unload with the standard atk. 1-3 charges should be enough.
Lvl 14 bash/stun barb: annoying guys as they keep u stunned or knocked back. Turn walk on. Try to charge up. If they stun you u should be able to hit them once or make them block causing them to be delayed for .x seconds. This gives u time to kill finish the charge up and kill them. Hard suckers if they are built correctly.
Lvl 18 asn: using malice they are basically higher lvl version of you. The same as the lvl 9 asn as it is a blocking contest, but for the most part they will win because they have more life and open wounds will be still be hurting u.
Lvl 18 melee javazon: the only thing they got going for them is speed. Otherwise they have low life and run out of mana quickly. Keep trying to charge up on them and u should be able to kill them unless they run and throw their javas.
Lvl 18 throw zon: very annoying. Run and throw. Don’t bother chasing because u will lose. They usually have 2 sets of self repairing javas and switch from one to another if one starts to run out. If u feel like chasing be sure to run in a circle. It’s harder for them to hit u then.
Lvl 18 throw barb: god these guys are worse then zons. They throw twice as much twice as fast. Run around in circles and be sure your bos is new otherwise if u run out of speed in the middle of the duel your screwed. Try to trap them against walls and charge up on them. They got no shield so it’s easier to hit them, just that getting to them is hard as ****.
Lvl 18 zealdin: u lost. 1 full zeal attack that hits u and your dead. They got 200 + max jewels on them u have no chance.
Past this point u will lost most if not all your duels. Remember a lvl 9 dueler is meant for dueling noobs for the most part. The highest lvl noob I’ve taken down was a lvl 79 barb.
