Madden '07 seems to be a good pick. You'll get mixed reviews on Red Steel from "glitchy and not living up to hype" to "if the other reviewers played more than five minutes..." type of things. I don't know which to believe until I play it, so the jury's still out in my opinion ;) Rayman Raving Rabids seems to be another rave game. It seems the game to absolutely avoid is Call of Duty 3 for the "tacked on" feel of the Wii-mote three-dimensional control aspect.

From what I read, Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Dragon Ball Z are best played on the Wii for the "new" experience they present. Apparently the fanfare of these two games was well matched for the design studios. Other than that, I've heard good things about Wii Play and Elbits [coming soon]. I've also heard Bleach plays excellent to prove that fighting games have a home to find. With games like Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, and Mario Galaxy coming out, it's hard to not name some future prospects ;)

What's out now is different and just a preview for what's to come.

I haven't played them, but it looks to me like Red Steel and Zelda: Twilight Princess are good.

Thanks for that Bamthedoc. Well I've got WiiPlay and it truly sucks..Its just there so you can learn how to use the remote. The thing is though, that I'm moving to South Africa soon and I'm not sure if they'll even have the Wii yet. Probably not..But anyway thanks for that.

About Zelda. That game is a total hunk of horseshit. I honestly dont get the hype. Its just a platformer. Maybe I need to play it more but so far its ****ing sad.

I'm a huge Zelda fan, 30-hours into the game, and absolutely loving it. It's an Action/Adventure game to which I have yet to see any Platform gameplay. The first while getting used to the new moves and wolf form can feel kind of slow or even Platform-esque, but I have no idea where you are in the game if you're saying that. I'm about to go to the Sky Temple, but I've got to balance out work, school, and a ton of other responsibilities with gaming. At least gaming has to do with school, so it helps...some semesters -_-;

Wii Play isn't out in the US yet. I think it's in Europe and Australia, so I couldn't tell you what I think of it. Wii Sports, I think, is fun.

I just got out of the Goron mines. What annoyed me about that was that there were sections where you had to perfect you jumps as to avoid falling in the lava. Rar. Anywa I'm past that as I have said.

WiiPlay not in the US yet? Thats odd I thought everything came out there sooner. I'm in Australia and got WiiPlay and a Wii Remote together for $65 which is kinda funny because the remote on its own costs $70. Wii play is really dull though..Just there to teach you to use the remote. Snooker's pretty fun though...

Blazing Angels is the craziest game for Wii out right now. You're a WWII fight pilot, and you can replay crazy battles such as Pearl Harbor. Awesome.

few weeks ago I got Blazing Angels and Paper Mario. Both games are really good. Paper mario is fun, however it has to much dialog. Blazing angels has difficult controls to master, but as long as you practise a few games, it gets easier. Great games all around.

I just beat Zelda, and it was great. Overall, the game was pretty straightforward. The bosses were kind of easy, but they were diverse and none were the same. I loved playing this game. The world was huge, and there were so many things to do I spent hours just catching poes and getting heart pieces. I really enjoyed all of it. I can't wait for the next one.

Funny... I also just beat it... I still need to go back and get 15 more heart pieces and 31 more Poe souls, but the story was a blast. Now I can finally move on and beat Sonic and the Secret Rings and Final Fantasy XII...

In my honest opinion, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess had a breadth and scope unlike any Legend of Zelda game before. It has a huge map and a lot of diverse and interesting characters, from the ally to the enemy sides. I loved the last battle against the giant ogre! That followed by the scene with him in the credits just does justice to the interesting and inventive minds over at Nintendo. I do have one thing to say about Midna. Since it doesn't reveal what happened, it can't be called a spoiler.

"Midna! Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!"

Also. I got an email survey from Namco Bandai. It looks like they're trying to put together a team based on what some of their Tales franchise fans say. I'm really hoping to see a Tales franchise game on the Wii an DS! I'd also like to see the same producer (definately), artist, and team from Tales of Phantasia (SNES, PSx, GBA), Symphonia (NGC, PS2), and of the Abyss (PS2) get together for the next one. Those three had the best story, artistry, and characters.

I swear she was going to tell Link that she loved him at the end.

I kinda felt Zelda was on the easy side. although I did enjoy the fight with Gannon, between the pig, and the sword fight, it was awesome.

It was pretty easy, but that's alright. Everything else made up for it. I enjoyed the Ganon fight too, but it was repetitive. I wish they could have made the bosses more difficult. I don't know how they could have, but it would have been wicked awesome.

I still had two fairies and two Fairy's Tears after the Ganondorf fight :ninja: He was fun, frustrating, and the ending was just spectacular!

By frustrating I mean I kept angling the analog stick up and very slightly left so Link would jump attack rather than skirt out of the way... I lost more health that way... =/
