Lich

The lich, the damned souls of the orc warlocks, have extremely great propetires to them. I have used close to 43 dreadlords in my games and 20 DK so i figured i would try the lich, and now it's the only heropp i use. Deaqth and decay is a great substitute for siege weapons. If u look at one of my replays i posted, i use Death and Decay on a group of spirit towers and destroyed them all.

Frost nova and frost armor are both a good way to start with a lv 1-3 lich. Frost Nova freezes units in an area and deals 150 damage at lv3(i actualy am iguessing with that). A great way to get a fleeing hero whoi s just about dead.

Sacrifice can be exremely cheap, bring along 1 or 2 necros with your attack, then raise a single skeltons then have your lich sacrafice a free summond unit for magic.

So to my question, when you play undead do you use THe Lich? have u tried him? i only started to use him because i was getting bored of the dreadlord.

I tend to use the Lich as my secondary hero, though I sometimes try it out as primary. Vampiric aura just seems to work better with my stile though.

Id rather use dreadlord first. The lichs abilities are good at the beginning of the game, but it's not very often you run into the other player when he is lvl 1-3. I save him for secondary because you need to lvl him up for dand d, but vamp aura seems more important.

Vamp aura seems lame compared to frost amror. With that u get a crappy +5 but every attack on the unit that has armor will freeze the attack or something like that. It is autocast which makes it all the better.

Autocast is good, but if your in a lot of battles then you will use it a lot on units that dont need it. Does the lich automatically target melee units first? if he doesn't, it would waste mana, and in my opinion frost nova is much better. He does have dark ritual though, so he can get lots of mana back.

Actualy he uses frost amor on any unit (inclding himself) wheneverr they are attacked, so if your lich was targeted he would give it to himself.

If I were you, i'd det the lich definitley before the death knight, and maybe befor the dreadlord.

I never use lich its good but I don't like it that much. Frost Nova and Death and Decay and free mana good damage ya but its not a unit benefiting hero. Frost Armor isn't that good and I can't stand missing out on the two auras the other two heros provide. Lich is good when used properly though.

Thats exacly why I dont get the lich. I need the Dreadlord and the Death-Knight's Auras. And by the time I get the lich it would be too late because I would have already won.

I love the lich. He's better than the DL at the start and at the end. Not to say I won't refuse to a battle with him.

The Lich is possibly the best hero. all his spells are realy cool and usefull especialy death and decay.

Also, it's good pretty good Hp and nice amounts of mana. and frost armor costs a mere 40 mana.

Just to answer something
at lvl3 the lichs frost nova does 150 nova dmg and 100 cold dmg
total of 250 dmg

well the Lich isn't good as a First hero i think but i agree in that's it great a a Second hero =)... But The Dread LOrd is the best...
