It depends who you're talking to. If you're talking to a conservative, then yes. If you're talking to a liberal then the media is biased conservatively.

liberal media doesnt peeve me as much as celebrities. Remember when the dixie chicks did their anti bush anti war thing? why? theyre paid to do music, you watch them play listen to their music, thats their job. But when they get the spotlight, they use it as though it were a public radio station. We own celebrities, we want them to act, sing, dance, but not to tell us what to do or how to think. They're supposed to be pure entertainment.

I only watch local news and BBC so I wouldn't care. But the opinion section of the newspaper is very biased...

No...If someone doesn't agree with you then they're probably liberal. I'm sure we could get tons of liberals in here to tell you that you don't know what you're talking about. Blatantly stating that doesn't make it so though. Please explain to me the liberal bias though. I'd be interesting in hearing what particular reports you think are biased.

Celebrities have contracts, these are for movies, tv shows, music, etc. but how many of them have contracts to use media as a tool to be pro or anti something? Why do i have to listen to them in the first place when they shouldnt be talking?

The news channels are all PRIVATELY OWNED CORPORATIONS, they have the right to take you off the stage, but they can't beat you unless you posed a physcical threat to the people in the building. You can go up on stage and say "**** John Kerry" and the government would not fine you, but the corporation would get fined. That's almost assured since we have Conservatives running the FCC :\.

If it was taped before airing, the station probably wouldn't run the tape, so to avoid a public relations disaster, or the tape would be edited.

Celebrities have political stances, what better way to express their views than to use their fame.

Actually I heard that FOX made a mockery of him and even Bill O'Reilly said that the whole thing seemed like a GOP engineered attack on Kerry.

You're not a celebrity, so what stage are you planning on running on to? I'm not 100% sure of the laws on public vulgarity (the FCCs being a real bitch) so I don't know if you could actually use the phrase "**** Kerry", but sure you can publicly say stuff about Kerry. So celebrities shouldn't vote because their job contract doesn't include something about them being allowed to think for themselves what politician is their favourite? What is your job? Are you supposed to be thinking for yourself about the election, or will you not bother voting because of your job contract? It's the people who base their vote purely on what their favourite movie star says that are the stupid ones...
