Level Up hack/bot?

my friend claims he has a bot that at the click of the button sends the packet that levels you up and thus can get you level 99 in around 5-10 minutes. is this true, is it even possible?

The only way i think he can do that is if he hacks the server..which is illegal..

plus, if it was true, he would be flagged in a madder of seconds, because there is no way to get to lvl 99 in 5-10 minuets. also, it would take a bout a week to sniff the right packet, if that is he dont get frustrated to high hevens b4 that

but it's clientside....

as matti said, the level calculations are serverside, you cannot affect them by sending packets ... only way to change serverside values (like level/stats/items) is to hack the server ---> who the hell would go to jail for a d2 item?

in other words: the "I-Reached-LvL-99"-packet is sent from the server to you, therefor you can only receive it ---> clientside ... you cannot force-receive a realy packet

The closest thing to that kind of bot would be pindle bot which takes forever to lvl but you still gain a little xp without any work at all

A little xp? I use jhj and i got to 92 in 1 week, i spent 2 hours leveling to 30 botted norm botted nm botted hell now my char is 95.

BTW if this was possible he would have made 99's on the hardcore ladders and sold over ebay for $500+ for an account full.
