Let's think back: The days and months before 1.10

Yeah, 1.10 has been out for almost 1 1/2 years. It was released in June/July of 2003, and is the latest patch.

But what about 1.09, the hacker's haven? Remember the good ol' days of chest hacking, duping Meph stones to scam some poor noob out of an Ith, and making Iths yourself? What about using the BFHS's BulletTime HackIt! module to be invincible while dueling, or at least against missiles? Hell, 1.10 ruined everything. You can't even rush anymore without leveling up to beat the Ancients.

Let's reminisce about the goold ol' days before 1.10 came about.

1.09 was really funn stuff, i stoped playing alot because of the gay lvling in 1.10........ I remember my first dupe was the Dupe Assist by MechWarrior, soon after was chest hack and the Skill hacks. Man , 1.09c was fun stuff, since i was newb.......1.09d was when i got leet, and i pooned newbs, rofl, it was good stuff....sigh....

i owned diablof or 4 years before i coudl install it on my computer (once i bought it the old computer went on the fritz and none of us knew anything about comps, then we got the emachine and i installed it, which was 4 years later) i started playing in the -every- beginning of 1.09d i was noob for about 6 months, then i got leet haxord gear (i only played classic) then i came to these forums, which caused me to want to learn how to work on computers, and diablo. since then ive become fairly knowledgable with computers and am still uber godly on classic diablo...workin my way up in xpan though...

first dupe i ever did was in 1.10 cause every dupe that came out in 1.09 i would be literally a day too late. first dupe i heard about was the pot matrix gold dupe. i got it working for an hour, then it was patched, then i left diablo and they made an item dupe outa it i believe... then the big skull hassle... then there was that 15 corpse dagger dupe, that was my first dupe ever, i duped some crappy runes lol... and then got rd and it was patched the next time i tried... good times.

09 was nice.Me and friend made use of one of the dupes and made like 5 mules of b strings.so anything i wanted i could trade for.I help a guy xfer on west some stuff he stole from a d2 store and he gave me a 4 soc b valor.Bots could go as fast as they wanted with out as much realm downs.Nova sorcs owned cows at the time which was fun.I think more people played 09 than 1.10

i still remember loosing my rabies druid at lvl 94 to the d2hackit module that when used twice to drop people from the game corrupts ur character
them were good times.
Also had 3 accounts full of 6sct WF 3sct Occys bvalks ...
them were good times.......

I had 3 occy rings. I was hella poor..

I remember the dupe age.. All my items went away becuz of the rust storm.

Oh jeah, the good old 09, the dupes, bugged items and so on, playing D" was a lot more fun in 09. I remember when Dupeswap was released an first i did Meph runs for the gold when selling dropped items to a NPC ^^

i bet 09 was the best, just a minute of silence for good 09

i liked occy rings and white stuff, ahh those were the days, when you could dupe your own items and sell em off to newbs.

Actually 1.10 was released in November of 2003.

My favorite stuff about it was TH3 and 4, damn I scammed so many people with that TH. I also had one bad ass account, ask anyone who played on east with me...

And scamming people with the dropit hack was the funnest shit too.

i remember when xpan items were brought over to classic (i played all classic back then)

...then i remember getting my first xpan item in classic... good ol vamp gaze... no one could touch me w/ that damage reduce... then i got the gf sword on my baba...so godly...

man...i miss those days...
