I worked for a non-profit organisation supported by our goverment called Computers For Schools, i helped build computers, work in the warehouse, and also do tech support. You wouldnt believe how many times the answer to the question is "check the state of the on/off switch on your power bar".

Meh, they aren't scamming anyone dude, you went out and bought the CD yourself didn't you? When you installed and played the game it worked didn't it? If not you coulda returned it.......

They aren't scamming you with warden either, If you have to go buy another CD key because you get banned for hacking you are just complying with their EULA in an indirect way... It says right there in plain text that if you are caught using 3rd party programs (among other things) you could be banned and your CD key disabled.... When your cd key is disabled you can still play on open or single player, so the software still functions.

The fact remains if you got banned you GG'd yourself.
