Lesser of Two Evils- Pally/DK

I posted this in the original Lesser of Two Evils thread, and came up with Pally as first hero, or choosing Death Pact as your first skill for the DK. both choices are equally horrible, but i was wandering what you guys would choose.

hmmmmmm Im not a human or undead player but I suppose a Pally as a first hero would be better then death pact because pally can heal while death pact will just kill your own units for a bit of health

Pally as first hero isnt horrible, meh heh

I'd hate to have POTM, shes so... useless, and so much like 2nd hero, her name just yells out at me "MAKE ME IN FFA GAME PLZ!"

Pallys are cheap. And cheapness gets me angry.

Death pacting a unit would be recommended once you get summons or ghouls you don't wish to use.

I'd hate to have POTM

Even in RT, they get POTM with archers and watch when I come with hunts and demon hunter. You are forced to use ur moon wells while I mana burn your precious potm that should have gotten Flame Arrows first and not Trueshot.

I've seen potm used well as first hero with hunts and true shot.Ad potm with hunts will win a fight with a dh with the same amont of hunts I believe but I could be wrong

You can be, the mana burn has a dramatic impact on potms because of thier low life supply they have at level 1. Although, the potm commander could have methods of counteracting that situation.

but wait if your using potm for the aura how could mana burn affect her since auras are passive. Am i missing somethign or does mana burn all inflict damage?

Mana Burn takes 50/100/150 mana and removes it. Then the mana loss becomes damage as well. Its a real crippler depending on who you use it against. To get back on topic... In battle I see Death Knight can survive a strong conflict as long as the player knows how to micro him. However, without death pact, the death knight would have to use potions to heal himself or run him out before he falls.

pally as a first hero does no blow at all, pally is amazing especially when he can heal almost anything back to full life.

DP is useless compared to dk's other skills
