Layout for a hell meph sorc?

hey, wuts a good layout for a sorc that can easily own hell meph?
this question is asked a lot, i know, but i just want to make sure...

lol well i say cold and alot of mas.maxed mas maxed orb and if u can and feel like it maxed ice blot then grab bout 5 cold charms and u can get his down to 2/3 life with good orb hit or even half

FYI: Cold > fire Vs Meph.

yeah I think cold is better on meph. But why are you worried about a meph sorc he dosnt got good drops anymore.

i think the act bosses like baal and meph still give good drops....
for some reason i think blizz was lying
... some people also suggest that you join with a character that hasn't done the quest yet and then kill him with a character that already has and the drops will be the same.
and furthermore, some poeple suggest it depends on the character level.

ahaha dont drop good? i got uniques ok let see flame bellow skullders 2 jade talons(asn wep)unique armet uinque elder staff unique elit throwwing axe and that not all if it.thats one day too

fire for meph, but you can forget doing solo diablo/baal runs, too many FI's.

nah not fire for meph... according to one battleforums user "Kao" each shard does nearly 1000 damage, so in effect, you knock out 1/3 of mephs life in one hit!!! with maxed ice bolt, ice mastery and frozwen orb.

Yep, It rapes mephisto more than meteor. IF you think fire does more damage to meph as opposed to cold, something is wrong with you. Hell, I even do meph runs in hell with a 600 damage orb and can take him in about 5 orbs or so (if I hit him right).

Also, you might try Blizzard. Anything but fire.

Don't forget cold mastery. I can do nm meph in 2 orbs thanks to -155% cold resist from it. NEVER underestimate the power of Cold Mastery.

cold , i maxed mastery, maxed orb (both level 28), pretty easy, like 10 quick statics, and 6-8 orbs is all it takes normally (if you get the orb through meph), takes like...15 seconds from getting to level 3..

fire spells when you lvl 85+ is one of the most powerful attributes in the game. like the guy above said a few statics and this time a few fireballs and you guys is dead, you can do fire or cold both can get through meph but i prefer fire :lucifer

Fireball takes days to kill mephisto compared to my cold sorceress. Hell, her orb does 900 damage, with -215% Cold Resist, and can kill meph in 2 orbs without static. Hows that for strong? I want to see a firesorc take meph in 1 meteor.

Im confused as to why people are recommending orb? do you have the 2% synergy maxed also?

Anyways, i thought blizzard was superior...

i use ice blast left click (1081-1200) blizzard left click (2000-2200)
level 75 sorc. and cold mastery is like 2 poits away from maxing

does pretty well

With the meteor trick, my meph runs are less than 1 minute, EVERY time.

How long does it take to get meph setup? Then the waiting ?

I can do meph runs uder minutes, usually 45-60 seconds depending on how far away the level is. My fastest run ever (from starting the game) was 19 seconds. That was with 2 orbs and the durance right next to the wp.

in the cold build, u need to max orb, mastery, glacial spike, blizzard, cold blast........ should i max what else or should i not max one of these


o yeh and would this build still be good if u didn't have good items??????

MH: Most of us are.

For a Blizzard sorc: Don't get extra skills if you wont need. For example, max out the lower spells first before you even touch frozen orb.
