ive switched interest to Law. i can start this in university without having to study any subjects prior to this.

Law, right now im in new zealand (the **** hole at the bottom of the earth), ive recently taken an interest to Law and is currently looking towards a career in it.

im just wondering, if i study law here, will it still be valid qualifications even if i move to the US? im asking this because law in NZ and law in US are different.

the job im aiming for by studying law is prosecutor.

sorry for asking you guys these questions everytime and leaving once i get the answer.

lul.

there are no career kind of things here because the only career place is commerce/business and most people end up being small shop owners. 98% of the business here is independant business. the only transnational company here is telecom and no one gives a **** about it.

so...you guys are saying that i have to study law again in the US to get qualifications?

actually, doctors do not need to go to school again here if they come from a medical school abroad. For that matter, neither do lawyers. Provided your NZ law school offers a JD, all you need to do is pass the state bar wherever you want to practice......the ambiguity lies in the fact that if you went to law school abroad, there's a high likelihood you wont pass the bar....at least not on your first go.

they merely need to take the licensing exam and pass it.

First line I saw was Law. Okay cool, this could be a great subject.
Second line I saw was AZN_FLEA. I knew at that point the first line couldn't have been right.
So I went back to the first line and spelled it out very slowly. Had someone else read it to me. Sure as ****, it said Law.
I then went back down to the second line to assure myself that maybe I had read the 2nd line incorrectly the first time.
After much debate I decided to open the thread and gain my +1 because I knew that's all the thread was worth.

FLEA, hes the man you should listen, all you need is taking licensing exam in US I think (depends though, if you get you're degrees in Canada, I don't think you'd need to take those exams to work in US... You should ask the profs or whoever in NZ)

and munchyman, I heard most of the people pass these licensing exams or w/e easily.
