Ladders?

a question.. ive been making ladder chars all the time.... everyone seems to thinks its bad what is the difference between ladder and non ladder and can u go to non ladder from ladder?

and while we're on the topic of dumb questions whats a "torch"

4)No glitched items (begining at least, haven't seen any recently).

People who think ladder is bad doesn't like the thought of actually starting from scratch. I play both ladder is easier to obtain items but Non Ladder is where all the really rich folks own.

A "torch" is a HellTorch Charm (large) that is dropped in uber Tristram (Red portal in act 5 when you combine Mephisto's Brain, Diablo's Horn and Baal's eye.) It is the best charm in the game, it grants 3 to a class skill (Amazon, Barbarian, etc.) 22 Firestorm, 15-20 Attributes/resist*<---correct If I am wrong* and something else (Hydra charge I think).

You get the organs(brain,eye, and horn)from the single uber bosses(izzy,lilith,and duriel) these are found using the 3 keys(hate,terror,and destruction) you combine the 3 keys 1 of each in cube act 5 hell. this will open a portal to 1 of the 3 single uber bosses. once you defeat one of these bosses an organ will fall. izzy drops brain. lilith drops horn. and duriel drops eye. I must warn you the 3 single uber bosses are not to hard they arent easy though. But Uber trist is considerably harder so make sure your ready with a godly smiter or have some friends help you. I'd hate to see you waste your organs.
