Ladder teams useless?

So.. I got on.. about 20-30 minutes after the ladder reset.. I was receiving no help from the BF Ladder "Team", and I use that term loosely. I managed to make it to lvl 20 only to find that half of the BF team had given up and the otehr half were would give no help to those of us who couldn't catch up.

A friend of mine however was on another ladder team and that team excelled, he joined in a half hour late just as I did, and he is now around level 70. I'm starting to wonder if I made teh rigth desicsion by joining teh BF ladder team.

Is there anyone else besides me who feels that they were left behind despite how much they tryed? That weren't helped at all by the suposid ladder team?

There were times that I had just asked for a wpt, but I didn't even get that.

Seriously why is it that half of the team was left behind? When other's like SweatyOgre pressed on alone.

i dont know if its worthy to dwell on this.....

i have made mention of it already a couple times from the very beginning though..... its not even the playing thing but i will use this as an example.


i have been following the BF channel since velvet started the first ladder team....and since then i have checked on and off almost daily. one day i leveled an assasin from 1-75...so you know i was there quite a bit.

in all this time, each and every time i enter an exit the channel full or not i have said hello and introduced myself as if its my first time everytime. so far.....with all the Bforums regulars around the only ones to answer have been Ntrik and Jim Morrision.

take it as you will, that is think is a prime example to sum this scenario up.

nothing to get angry or feel left out about however. i still enjoy chatting to the others and on the forum itself atleast many members are willing to give a hand.

i can tell you one thing, when i signed up here last week every question or problem i had i got assitance with and the forum convos were great. just extend that into the game where talk is cheap....it shows.

but since nobody is willing to take up the conversation it doesn't make sense to go further. just play as if the "team" or "camaraderie" did not exist.

the top 8 people on the ladder baal run together, that is how they got that far... at one point i baaled with them, but sweaty went afk so i took a break. when i came back, they moved on...

the top people all stayed up all night, im probably in the 'top 100' mark, but nothing too fancy like i was (top 20) imma catch up to sweaty hopefully if i get back into his team.

i actually slept last night, i figured that once the floor starts spinning whenever you open your eyes (as if you were spun around continueously) that it would be a good time to take a break...

now im ready to go sweaty

Nice, lol. I still havnt had a chance to start as the d2 loader hates me and my dad finally went to the store to get the drive fixed.
