Diablo 2: Ladder Reset Announced!

Right on the heels of our new Patch 1.11 comes the next great Ladder season for Diablo 2. Got what it takes to be the first to climb to the top of the Ladder? Hardcore players ready to be number 1 and stay on top? The new Ladder season for Diablo 2 will commence, starting this Monday, August 8th.

The current season will not end til the weekend is over, so get out there and clash blades with Diablo, Mephisto and Baal before it all ends

B-net announced the ladders will be reset Monday....damnit I wanted them to reset but not a week after, just start HC and already gotta do everything again :/. Ahhh, and schools back Monday. Oh well, fair shot at that ladder .

This is so wrong and mean. They let some poor people get some currency going off keys and now are going to reset the ladder. I'm so angry. I finally got a nigma and and made a good char and they are going to **** me like this. Oh well, new ladder will be good no more store dupes for a while. It's been nice so far without 800 bots running around advertising.

I'm 18 but I'm repeating 12th cause I skipped a lot of school, lol...but yea, damnit ladder reset and I just got to lvl 40 HC.

It never is a surprise because they never just do it, they announce it. They aren't hiding in your closet waiting for you to go in your room then they pop out and go ARARAARR.

I never implied that, I was simply stating that it SHOULD NOT have been paired with patch, because patch WAS a surprise.

I think this is classic bliz at its finest. They give us a taiste of things to come, but hold it just out of reach to really let it all sink in. I would not be surprised if they had some new unique items, and some as of yet unknown surpises come to light. Like a SOH with a lvl 90 requirement that is for "proof" only. We'll why would proof need a requirement, that can easily go on a lvl 1 mule. Who knows maybe their is something to that gem on the screen in chat channels now?????? Knowing them at bliz, the interest in that is now gone. What better time to have it do something amazing.
Bliz is smart, our interest was peeked so high about Lilith and the like, that when we did it in only hours, maybe they thought ok now lets show them what the Tristrum Run would be like for real. I am curious to see what is hiding in this new patch that we have yet to uncover. I can garentee that lvling will take a bit more time, players will be more causious when baaling, cowing, and doing anything of the sort in nm, and hell for a few days after the reset. Their is always a method to their madness. It is also what keeps us coming back for more.
