This problem has never arisen with any other game than KOTOR 2, and I'm hoping that this is not a problem restricted solely to me.

When getting into battles where multiple commands are issued to all my characters, the game will lag up, and frequently, many actions will go on while I'm waiting for my XBox to process all the information.

This never happened in KOTOR 1, nor any of my other games, and makes it extremely difficult if I'm fighting something, my health gets extremely low, and I don't know that until I'm already dead.

If there are any known problems with a particular type of CD-ROM as well, as I know there are three major manufacturers of XBoxes.

... Or if this is just something as stupid as cleaning my lens.

I have myself experianced this, and i dont have the thompson drive(samsung i think). The slowdown happens when you play kotor 2 too long. To fix this,

1)take out the kotor2 disc
2)run the xbox and leave it in dashboard for about 10 minutes
3)Power down the xbox for another 20 minutes
4)Put kotor 2 back in the drive and try it

Now, if that doesnt work, its your xbox. I used to get disc read errors all the time, i returned my xbox and they occured less requently on my new one. When they do on my current one, i do the previous steps and it works just fine. DAMN POOR XBOX RAM

bastard you used to have a tompson then. If you got a new one, you may have got a 1.6b, which has cheaper ram, booo macroshaft!
