i install KOTOR 2 and i make a character and then after the initial cinematic of the batered ship flying through the asteroids, it fades out, as if to swich to gaeplay, but then stay faded out and i get a black screen...forever. the music is stil playing in the background. (note i tried multiopla times, and had to restart my computer after each try because it wont let you exit the game, i even left it on vernight, and it was still at the black screen.) anyone help/know what to do?

Heres my specs

OS: XP home SP2
CPU: AMD Athlon 64, 1800 MHz (9 x 200) 2800+
RAM: 512MB
GFX: ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9700 Series (128 MB)
Drivers: ati2dvag (6.14.10.6451 - ATI Catalyst 4.6)

That game is horribly buggy and very picky about when it runs well. You can try updating all your drivers, patching the game, and hoping for the best. Good luck. The one other thing that might help would be to disable the movies in game, I know they caused me problems in Kotor 1.
