Because starcraft is the biggest sport in south korea, over 80% of the population has heard of it. It is kind of old news, the guy played for 36 hours and finally fell asleep in front of his computer, and when he woke up a few hours later to go to the bathroom he collapsed. He just played too long without sleeping or eating.

i think sc is a sport of the mind and over the summer i played for 48 hour at a time rough estimate but for around 2 days strait but i did eat and drink and stuff like that

Brood War is physically to easy compared to Football
It is menally ezir than basketball and physical too.
I knew i would come upon this so i will say the only thing i will say on this topic. Video Games arent harder than sports and some will say they are but there not because there lazy @$$ has never played a sport.. a real sport not like boys and girls club wussy stuff, i mean a real sport like High School Football. You will argue yo are the best player at my school and i work hard we won the state blabla but i have came across this too many times. Those people really make me mad.When people are out there practicing for a game and your sitting on you lazy @$$ playing starcraft feel lucky.

STARCRAFT IS DAMN WELL A SPORT

I think StarCraft is one badass sport too, ya see while your building your base and stuff and yu get hungry you have to get up from your chair,run to the kitchen, in the pantry grab some notso nutritious food pig out, then run back to your computer, sit back down!

I play Starcraft quite a bit like 2-6 hours a day but it gets old. I don't play any sports now cos its too damn cold. Plus I'm not good at alot of things and I can't stay after to play on a team so I play Starcraft. Sigh.

i have played bball for 8 years (im15) i am good i start for my school jv team i work hard for 2 hours everyday running and jumping to get better its alot of work and physical activity more running than football(dont argue because it is a fact cause its nonstop running and football is stop and go) starcraft u sit at ur comp and move a goddamn mouse dont even compare it to a sport cause that makes me sick get a life damn i mean sc is fun but u cant waste away the day sitting in front of ur pc!
