Killer mod idea...

I think it would be awsome if someone could make a mod that loaded external mp3's into the game to replace the in-game music..... or at least make a program that can compile the patch.mpq with the music. Listening to Linkin Park while killin baal.

That's actually a pretty good idea as far as a d2Hackit module. It could display song info in game, and you could bind certain keys to certain tasks(play, pause, next etc.)

well Involar... i know not of this "winamp" but it would be much easier to play songs from the d2 game itself rather than having a separate program.

I think it would be best to make an interface in D2 that would use WinAmp APIs to control WinAmp.

i think an even better idea is making a Onlyer's cdkey loader plugin... i don't think it would be that hard to make.

well....actually its a waste of time...when like he said u can easily just place -ns in the target line and play ur music with another program.

Yeah, but wouldn't it be nicer if you could see song and playlist info in game? And it would be easier to change it in game.

Would be a good idea But it would be just as easy to turn your ingame sound off, make a play list and use "CounterAMP" to control winamp without having to Alt-Tab out of the game.

people have already done that, i had one but lost it when i moved since i dont have that computer anymore. friends have made it, but its never been pub released...from what i know its fairly ez to create

I looked around on my old hard drive and I found a winamp module, I never tried it though, and can't get D2HackIt to work right now. It's from 1.09, but it probably still works. Check it out.

It does, risk getting banned becasue you can't add -ns and use winamp, Smart.

did u ever hear of "global hotkeys" allows u to use winamp from everywhere (game, word, ie) without having to alt-tab or anything...
thats wat i use and its damn easy... n if u wanna see song name, turn on notifier... n if u wanna see playlist... well , u can save it as .txt n tell stealthbot to read it to you...
n besides... stealthbot controls winamp, just whisper it something like .play .pause .next and it will do whatever you tell it to.
