Theres 2 ways to get into hell.

1, you kill yourself.
2, you do not ask for absolution before you die.

That's it. If you spit in gods face (you kill yourself) then you go to hell. If you do not bother to ask for absolution, then you don't want to go to heaven in the first place, so you get stuck going to hell.
