okay we know that the marine has a combat shield with a bayonet. my friends and i were talking about it and suddenly we can up with something that cool/ funny.
what would happen if we could train the marines to be like roman legionaries ?
basically a bunch of hydrolisk is up ahead, the marines form the testudo formation and have a medic or two in the center. as they advance they fire their rifles and the medics heal on the go. if the zerg sent in zerglings they can use the bayonet at close range to kill em. muhaahaha a wall of death! imagine if the formation was in a narrow passage, ling ownaged.
i know it's stupid but it just popped into our heads. of course they would get owned by siege tanks and etc but yeah would be pretty funny.
o one more thing i know this is old but i did found an english translation for what was happening during the first SC2 demo.
