rogues are damage dealers, but they are fragile, same for mages. mages = spells, rogue = melee. soom good jobs are leatherworking/skinning and mining/engineering. you decide.

if you want to be more steady, be a druid or a warrior. they can take hits nicely but give it out a little slower. I wouldnt suggest being a fast paced character for your first run, maybe just a slower practice character first and just level it to 10 or something so you understand what you're doing, then restart on what character you want.

I say go a Shaman. They're really good, but I have a Night Elf Rogue Lvl 38 and a Shaman Lvl 45 on different realm's. Both doing really good.

But for you, you should start off Shaman for sure, if you want a mount quick or want lot's of money, go Leatherworking/Skinning.

If you want to deal damage out quickly Mages and Rogues maybe the best choice. Mages can dish out a lot of damage in a short amount of time but they have horrible health. Rogues rely on sneaking up on an enemy and killing them, but they can only wear leather armor.

So for a Mage I chose skinning (good money) and tailoring because I am able to make cloth armor, bags, etc for myself and sell. Herbalism/Alchemy is good as well because you can make mana potions and health potions for yourself.

Don't make a rogue, paladin, or shaman. Make a warrior. There's not very many good warriors out there..Or well..Not very many warriors, period. Rogue/Pally/Shaman come a dime a dozen.

Very true. Priest is another good choice that isnt as common, I have a 42 priest. I hate just being a healbot though, plus its a PvP server so I made a shadow priest =)

Mind control for the win!

i beg to differ. skinning does not result in nearly as much profit as mining. mithril and truesilver stacks sell for rediculously fine prices. however i do agree, tailoring pawns.

Bronze stacks easily sell for 80s-1g in my server. It's also a low populated server so veins really aren't fought over. If I focused on mining for a day I'd say I could rack in a good 20g in bronze alone..Since thats all I can really get at the moment..

I would assume so... and there isnt a bundle of shaman's. o_O

Anyways Shaman's in my opinion are really good high leveled, do massive damage, and are hard to kill no matter what. Warriors are just boring, pray tell.

Mining is the most profitable, then it goes to skinning.. very true.
Nah, the ore would sell less beacuse it's not altered basically into a fine bar of it. The bar is made into a pure state, which sells more. =\

if you want to be the "damage dealer" go warrior and take alchemy and first aid. It is hard to kill a high level warrior who can heal himself, trust me.

Not a bad idea, warriors aren't gonna suck forever, and really the only way they are weak is in PvP against certain classes, where they just get owned. They are fine for the most part in PvE, taunt is kind of weak right now.

Warriors arent exactly the best class unless you know how to use them. Anyways, I'm sure blizzard will give warriors some love during the next patch, they seem a bit weak at points.

If you want damage dealing, go Rogue or Mage... Rogue is kinda like the Assassin from D2 and Mage is kinda like the Sorc... But I say that you play like... a warrior first... That's what I did...
