Has there been any real attempt at trying to improve the forums? All the changes I see are pretty much band-aids and from what I can tell no attempt has been made to fix the real problem the forum has, that being half the members are just immature assholes and the staff is no exception.

I've been gone for a year and a half and I see very few "new faces" around here. After spending 2 years here I feel somewhat invested in the forum and this just depresses me.

I now await the inevitable flaming and 'stfu's

The main page and forums also just look like a cluster fuck and extremely unprofessional. Seriously wtf? 3/4ths of the main page is ads. There's a place for articles and news yet no one to write them an the few that are there are easily missed in the mess.

For the record, staff has done plenty to try and fix this site since you left.

The only thing is, this site can't be saved. At all. Theres no hope for it, and there hasn't been since the last big crash in 04.
