I am a level 9 Gnome Rogue currently trying to train/quest in Elwynn.... and when I get to the places, IE the mines or the defias encampments, i can kill one or two at a time but they alll chase me so I either die or run and get nothing accomplished.... I know going with a group would be easier but all my friends are higher level and do their own thing... What to dooooo? I need to level but It's practically not letting me cause of these huge groups of mobs.

Yes, I try to pull one or two at a time, most of the time it pulls all of them

Try a different area may be the best bet. If it keeps pulling all, then look at other areas for the time being. There is plenty of places to go in Elwynn.-Timg

i think it is much better if you build your own clan...

Just have patience and learn how close you can get to enemies without them running and attacking you. Eventually you'll get better and pull only one enemy each time and you'll level faster.

Get a ranged weapon and throw it at them.

just try not to hit the other monster... just pull only one enemy.. and after doing that I'm sure that you'll lvl it up.. and finish all you want..:acclaim

go over to loch modan, you'll have better luck there for sure, lots of beasts so they come one by one easily
