Western Digital 120GB SE USB 2.0/Firewire External Hard Drive

Reason: My main desktop got a bug that would not let me use the internet, and my 90 gig was pretty much packed so I thought I should reformat. However I did not want to loose all of my good files (;)). So now your thinking why not go with an internal, right? Well I go to a vocational school and my major is Computer Technology (programming and hardware) and the thought of just being able to bring in all my files and swap with my friends is great. So I got this. :)

Edit.

Also specs if you are curious

  • Capacity (GB) --- 120
  • Interface --- USB 2.0/Firewire
  • Spindle Speed (RPM) --- 7200
  • Buffer Memory --- 8MB
  • Average Seek (msec) --- <9.5

Price? $184.99(USD)Includes a $50 rebate

It's cheaper to buy three 40 GB external hardrives. I'm planning on getting one of those, myself, as they are only $50.

3 x 40 = 120 = 120
3 x 50 = 150 < 185

The 40 GB have the same specs, otherwise ;)

How in the **** did you fill a 90 GB harddrive!?

So far I have a total of: 4.96 GB/55.9 GB and 2.65 GB/7.85 GB used..

That includes tons of Photoshop/bryce creations, music, music videos, porn, Half-Life, Steam, D2, D2 LOD, SC, SC BW, among other things..

Wtf lol..

Swapping with your friend is cool.... Now I gotta get me one (or two) of those thingies! Costs a bit to much for my tastes though...

I found a few at either Best Buy or Circuit City. I thought the price was crazy with how low it was, but I also thought, "I should get one sometime." I don't recall the company name...

My laptop has a 30GB, but it says 17.3/26.9GB used.

Now, us cool kids, when we get a sports car, we tell everyone we know we got this car.
Now, you nerds, when u get a computer part, you tell everyone in battleforums (pretty much everyone you know)

see the comparisons?

I can easily fill up 90gb.

On my computer I have:
UT04 (all 6 disks)
UT03 (all 3 disks)
That alone is around 6.5gb
Movies - 4gb of DivX/XviD
Music - 5gb of music (probably more)
+ Installed games, thats another 10.
+ Other games Ihaven't burned
+ The fact I had to burn to keep space on my drive (40 :()

I would ask you why bragging about the price, but it's better not for obvious reasons.

Congratz, now if only I could have anything similar to that :D

And I shall, oh I shall. In 5 years...
