Join games with d2jsp.... CAN'T!

how does it work... i set everything up right but it still creates games instead of joining? anyone know how to fix this?

You cannot join games with d2jsp. you can only make them.

yeah, isnt d2jsp for creating and doing pindle runs? i mean to can get different scripts for doing other runs. but im pretty sure you dont join games.

new version of d2jsp u can join cow games! helps from getting caught for using Bot. im not sure how to set it up 2 use the second session on the d2jsploader.ini. some 1 help me 2

Whats up everyone? So this d2jsp pindle bot is reliable? I just downloaded it but I'm still a bit wary... never used a bot before. Is this the best bot or are there other versions or something that I should be getting instead?

ok, I have the program. Just need to know how to set up the program now. Theres no installer..... that I can see. Can somebody help me out here? Post something?

ok, if you have not downloaded d2jsp. then download it at http://www.d2jsp.org/index.php?a=dl&sid=1& . download it to your desktop.

once you did that and its on your desktop double click on it and it should start installing.

if you got that far. start on # 4. on the sticky thread. heres a direct link to it:

just follow the directions and you should be fine.

also for bots, i would sugest for first timers use Pwnage Pindle 1.59h. Get it at:
http://scripts.d2jsp.org/index.php?pid=3&a=vc&did=15
and download that to desktop also.

now once you installed d2jsp, and downloaded pwnage pindle. this is what i did, i just moved all the files in the pwnage pindle folder i downloaded to the d2jsp directory, like for instance. inside the bot folder, move the PwnagePindle and pwndefault to the bot folder in the d2jsp directory. and same with all the rest.

once you done that, and followed all the directions in the sticky "D2 JSP Info *Fastest Bot*" and still having trouble. try editing your d2jspLoader.ini(6kb) and d2jspLoader text document(560kb).

oh, my bad, i made a mistake, you cant edit your d2jspLoad, the text document one.

edit your d2jspLoader.ini and edit your pwnsettings in the libs folder(for merc options, and other configs. i wouldnt edit alot of the sorc options and attack options. mainly edit the Mercenary Variables and Other configurations.

I got it hooked up and my sorc is KICKING pindles ass... easily..... the only problem is.... I don't know how to set it up to create its own games. I've been having to make the games myself and let it do its thing. Is it set on some kind of delay that I need to fix? Or..... what? What am I doing wrong here?

open your d2jspLoader.ini, the Configuration Settings one, with notepad, and look at the very bottom. it should look somewhat like that:

; 1=norm, 2=nm, 3=hell
Difficulty=3
; Use GameName=random and/or GamePass=random to randomize game names and passwords
GameName=random
GamePass=random

it should create the games itself, if you didnt config this part, then i dunno what to do.

P.S. dont use random for game name and pass, i think it takes to long to type, just use a 2-3 letter words.

you guys have been a huge help. Thank you very much. I'd like to report that not only is the bot TOTALLY working, and I've mastered the art of selecting the items I want to pick up, but I'm sitting on a small pile of good items.
The first run I did successfully, I found a Gladiator's Bane... 2000 defence eth armor.
The second run I did, I found a Valkerie's Wing helm.

Once again, thank you guys. And good luck to anyone else as confused as I was. You're in good hands with these guys. They know what they're talking about.

And one more note. Your bot shouldn't be JOINING games. It should be creating games. And if you just read either this thread of notes, or the thread named "Pindle bot for newbies" you will have all your questions answered.
