Yes, a very prominent one. You'd have to go through most of the wikipedia article to get an idea of how much of a nutcase he was, but basically he tried to push America into the dark ages on most civil rights and free speech issues.

Falwell hated the teletubbies with a passion, claiming that they were openly advocating homosexuality and that they were teaching kids that it's ok to be gay or something equally atrocious.
