JED spam ur pass?

I was readin through the forum and I came along a thread that said a guy lost his account cuse the bot put his pw in a channel. I really dunt feel like losin my acc. so how does that happen and how do I avoid it?

The older version of JED could do that, although not that often. I don't think the newer version does that.

Heh, funny story. A while back, I was having problems with my Pindlebot chosing the wrong char. What I did was after it started D2 I logged on to battlenet myself and picked the char. Well the bot didnt recognize this and went about its business trying to log in. Unfortunately since I had already logged in and was in a channel, it typed my name and pass and then entered it. it was all one big word when it showed up in the channel. Knowing the consequenses i went and changed my password immediately. but i dont think anyone noticed because when i logged back on it didnt give me the message "Failed Attempts since last log-on". anyway it wasnt the bots fault, but mine i have never had any trouble like that with d2jsp.

i had that prob with d2jsp... it can do it for any bot if u log on manualy and most new comers to bots do do that sumtimes i know i did it lol, but after u figure it out its fine
