JED 2.0 Scripts

Hey guys,
I'm a newbie to hacks, scripts, bots and how to use em. However i am NO noob when it comes to d2!!! Anyway i was wonderin if yall could help me out. I found a bot that is clean and ma friends use it. Only prob is, i just reformatted my hard-drive which was a B**** and a half and some people say that scripts can mess up your comp. So I wanted to know if thats true. I have a pc running windoes ME edition. Can anyone help me out here... thx

People said that a script is a java sub-routine whatever the hell that ment and they said that may screw it up....
