I don't know if this is the right forum or not, but I didn't see a tech forum anymore, so I'll post it here. I have a project due tomorrow at 11:30 PM est, and I can't get one particular aspect of the coding to work. It's something small for someone who knows how to do it, but I've got no idea.

Basically, I've got two classes in my program, which is a CLI complex number calculator. There is an accumulator that keeps the value shown when the menu reprints after each operation. My problem is that the string I'm trying to display doesn't update despite the fact that i'm redefining it in the other class. I'm a bit confused as to what to do. If you're willing to help and know some java, send me a pm and I'll reply to you with my two files. Thanks

I may, you never know. Now that I'm back at school, I've gotta figure that I'll have at least some free time to browse the forums.

Can't help with Java, my friend is taking CS and may can help, but he's not online.

I just wanted to state that I think we should bring back the Tech subforum.

hobo ted helped me. it was a really small fix, or at least that's my opinion on the matter. I was trying to return the wrong type of value.
