I've quit warcraft 3 forever.

I doubt many people remember me and I'm sure even fewer care, but I'm finished with this game. It was fun for a long, long time; but at this point I am sick of a few things that blizzard has done to basically ruin the game for me.

AMM: After 77-20 in 4v4RT, I've searched ALL DAY while at work and not found a game. Over 60 hours searching total, not one game found. Thanks for that, Blizzard. Not even a decent FFA record, and search times average 2 hours at peak times. This new AMM was supposed to reduce smurfing, provide better matchups, ect. ect. Doesn't really do any of that.

Same old crap: Orc vs UD, NE vs HU. SAME OLD CRAP. GJ balance team.

That's about it, nothing else to say, except:

-Fixed a crash that could occur in multiplayer games

Just because you are sick of the same old crap you see over and over doesn't mean you can strive to try something different or unexpected to kick your opponent's ass. But I think the whole boredom thing is a state of mind. Like, I myself usually dont get bored. I could play Wc3 for 10 hours or D2 Nez or Morrowind all day and I would not get one bit bored.

I think im also stopping wc3...Just because i SUCK lol...im not consistent...and i keep ruining my good record by playing on days that i cant focus i guess...I only play solo so there is a lot of skill/practice/realizing mistakes...I dont have anymore time and patience for that lol...

Im gonna stick to watching replays and playing some CS source(which im really good at)...

Back when I was playing Ladder, I would play about 20 games per day. That was when I cared. I still play it every once in awhile. You see, I can never get bored with the games with the best replay value. Games like FFT, Morrowind, D2 Nez and any Grand Theft Auto are good for those reasons.

I also see boredom as a state of mind.

I'm not quitting easily, really. And, I have no problem trying something different or unexpected. My main gripe is that I can't even find a game without making a new account every couple weeks, and I have no chance at being ranked near the top of the RT ladder without losing games on purpose, which I refuse to do.

Arranged teams is a little different, but search times are still ridiculous, and there is a pretty small pool of players with maxxed AT ELL, so you end up playing the same people time after time, and that gets rather boring.

Oh I get it now. You just hate the fact that you would have to wait 3 minutes for some game to run and it might be the same array of dickweeds over and over. I had that when I was playing... faced the same guy like 5 times one day.

It's understandable. However, if it was for quitting just because you are sick of the same cookie cutter strats/builds over and over doesn't mean you can just leave. We had that problem playing D2 Nezmod... a vast amount of people left without knowing that Nezmod has no bounds in the Creative Dept.

Whisper me on one of my accounts and we'll play some at...Cookie cutter strats are for noobs. No matter what race I play, i go something completely uncoventional at tier 2 (NE just flat out mass dots, never fails, UD banshee+abomb, Orc bats n wyvs, HU basically just a mix). I find that many players have far better micro and understanding of the game than me, but warcraft 3 is only about pulling off the win. When I mass cold towers (yes sounds noob), my opponent repeatedly calls me noob, but the fact of the matter is, it is an imba exploit. 90 gold for cold damage is great, no point in massing siege vs a mere 90 gold tower, and it gives u time to get the imba UD tier 3 units (i know sounds dumb, but UD is best tier 3 race by a ton: abomb frosty posession and stats are unbeatable).

If you're looking for a good and entertaining at, whisper me...and I guarrantee the win .

You obviously fail to grasp the basic concepts of a RTS.

It is called do a strategy to counter your enemy. Cookie cutters are too common and too easily countered. I can prove this in a game like Generals, even when 10+ Emporer Overlord tanks are about to attack me.
