I'VE DONE IT! I have a working, private dupe!

I've modified DupeSwap's source code and created a new, working dupe program that is like DupeSwap, but doesn't require cash, only the item you wish to dupe. Take this example.

You wanna dupe a Windforce, so you load the DupeSwap2 module with D2Hackit and go to Charsi. Click your Windforce, then click a Hydra Bow (doesn't have to be Charsi, any NPC with the base item will work). You get Realm Down, but when you connect back, you'll have two Windforces.

I'm seriously debating whether or not to release it, as it'll seriously screw our economy even further. I want the mod's opinions first.

You can't dupe charms or jewels. The damage to the econ won't be that bad.

I would be interested in looking at the source code if you're willing to share, after it's patched if you don't want to show me now. I've been fiddling with the old modules for quite a while now (but I just started learning to program)

well we had mayn of people like you here but all iam saying.. if you really do have made a working dupe then congradulation but dont come here just to be popular because it doesnt really prove anything.. u can release if you want or keep it private just dont brag though

I'll show you the source code as soon as I can figure out how to dupe jewels and runes. Shouldn't be too hard, just add in a couple of lines of code whenever a rune drops or a jewel drops, it will dupe on your command. This is confusing, so take this example.

You're doing a Countess run, and a VEX drops. This would pop up:

VEX rune (or whatever Rune), dropped. Do you wish to dupe it?

You would type .DS2 dupe rune #33 (for a ZOD. If you have a different rune, type the Rune number in). You'd get a Realm down, but you would have two runes.

I'll edit this once I figure out a way to dupe jewels.
