Iths, Occy Rings, Occy Shakos, ETC.

I hate to say it but 1337, you're wrong. Iths, Occy Rings, Occy Shakos and a few more hacked things WILL in fact be deleted. You say they dont have the technology to do it and you are badly mistaken. If they didnt have the technology to do it, how did they get rid of contricting rings, death marks (an early d2 hacked ring that added 7% dual leech along with +1 to all skills), the dupe wf's(which i had one and it got deleted, i know how the dupes get deleted btw) and the other hacked crap. There have been a few warnings in the Blizzard Tech Support channel that they're working on it right now. In fact, i once heard from one of the technical guys in there (blue caped mind you) that if they couldnt just delete iths, they would do one of two things. Delete the characters with an ITH on it or just delete the whole account. I have many friends who heard the same thing. Anyways I had to sign up on this thing just to give you people the right information.

blizzard doesnt knoe who has iths. So the only real way for blizzard to delete accounts is if ppl tell blizzard

Blizzard dont know who has what? Apparently they do, they could just use the same system they are using to get rid of dupes. The simple dummy explaination way they get rid of dupes IS......
1.) You join a game with a dupe.
2.) If someone else joins a game with that same type of dupe (usually wf's are the most deleted), then you should try dropping yourself or something because if you save & exit your dupe will be gone.
3.) You have to work your way back up trying to get more stuff selling, and buying another wf hoping it will be legit but we all know its a dupe and then you start the process all over.

Amazing. You people saying what bliz can and cannot do on their very own servers? Just goes to show how ignorant people can be. First of all, THC, ITH = Item Thats Hacked

When the first bugged soj's came out, people said they couldn't be deleted, just like the occy's now. Well for f***s sake, the did get deleted! Anyone remember those soj's? Gave like +7 to skills? I had a friend (sorc) who when doing the charged lightning, would whiten the whole screen with it. Yes, it was deleted.

Why would anyone think that Bliz didnt have total control of your account? You don't think they can locate every item in the system? I know it's a macho cool thing yall do to try and earn cool points by saying what bliz can and cannot do, but do you honestly know? Of course for more cool points you'll say you know a bliz employee right? hmmm, right. moving on........

hmm, its easy to run a scan for +1 skill dual leech items... Not easy to spend hours looking at little rings...

If you PAYED ATTENTION they ARE now detected but blizz will prolly leave em alone because

at the TIME OF THE POST they WERENT detected; and still most aren't...

1) saves long hours of sorting occys from the rings
2) there is an occy shako?!
3) They like abandoned d2 LOD
4) They gonna work on like ladder chars and leave this alone, read that on some site as a e-mail from blizz

hrm lets see... I run a test with two DUPED windforces of same base... (Thanks if ya ever look here, I keep my word of silence pal) I put on 2 different chars. I do a few cow runs;

ONE I leave (items exist still)
TWO I crash game (Items still exist)
THREE I press power buttin (Items Exist)

havent tested trading the item/dropping in THAT game though...


err and no-one'd sell iths to charsi... If you were rich enough to afford an ith you would

a) sell it for 20+ sojs (hehe get a few wf's for AO_NewithI)
b) use it, what the hell, anyone that rich is gonna play ladder anyways, they find it as "New Fun" rather than newbs think "finding another shitty weapon"

And I speak this out of experiance (sp?)... I COULD go and find a 6-7% legit wf with a JAH or something... Who gives a shit...

ya i dont think they will delete any hacked items beacuse it will be hard..but i know they easily could but prob wont..they dont wanna cut into there buget and pay some programmer to go do al this they'd rather focus on d3 and try and get it released on time thats there main priority!

1337, you said you tried the dupe deletion thing and it didnt get deleted. I hate to say it but, sir, are a liar. I read two internet sites supported by blizzard that said what I said (except it was in a harder to understand way) and I have also asked mikej about it (one of the support supervisers) and he said thats roughly how it goes.
And ya know what, to all those who dont believe the truth I say, oh well, wait for the new patch, get your stuff deleted so I can laugh at you. And I cant remember who it was but someone said for those who dont like iths just means you cant afford one. I had an ITH bow and 2 mf ith swords for my barb. Traded all of it off and got 2 grandfathers and a wf (unfortunently the one that got deleted) because I didnt like the idea of how strong they were.

And I'm sorry. I Do know constricting rings are not hacked, it was a simple use of bad words when I put it like that. I use to have one on bnet until they got deleted. And now im the most PISSED OFF PERSON THIS GOD DA... but nevermind about that.

leet, I didn't know about occy shakos until about a week back. Used the new map hack that let you see their inventory and seen it there and was like HOLY ****. He completely denied it of course but i got screenshots of it too. And right before he left he told me ''Please dont report me''

Ok here is my 2 cents worth
the new patch will fix alot of the dupes and of course the way people hack
when was the last patch released? anyone remember?

im not saying all hack items will be deleted i really dont know that but alot will, stuff like occy rings 100% will be gone
remember bugged soj with -(minus)Strength what happened to it? wow its gone and it had the name Stone Of Jorden in it. Iths will be gone but not for long all they doing to iths is putting back in the runes that were taken out ( not 100% sure on that but i was told )

Neways say goodbye to alot of hacks and dupes in the new patch release, and thats my 2 cents
