Items Stolen

I am looking for help on stopping players from stealling items from my player. So far I have had two items taken when my items dropped on the ground.

It has happened twice. Both time I was in town with other players. The 1st time the items I had on dropped to the ground. A player took a wedding band and left the game. The 2nd time the items in my inventory fell on the ground and a player took my Alders Armour.

I have not visited any web sites or "clan" sites so I don't think I have been infected by a "drop" program, but I can wipe the hard drive and reload if this will solve this problem.

Please help if you know how to prevent this

Well anytime someone tells you to drop your item, dont its a scam. Could be the new teleport hack. Well not new but its there. The second one seems like a drop hack which you would have to be infected with. Did one of your "friends" send you a program?

I don't get it ... all your items dropped and only your wedding ring was stolen? Was the rest worthless/did you pick it up again/did only that ring drop?

everything dropped and I picked up everything but w BK wedding band and a sheild but the sheild was not that good. The other player picked up the sheild and the ring and then left the game. I guess a sort of grab and run. I want everyone to be clear. I did NOT drop my items on purpose. I was not in the moddle of a trade. I was just in town in a public game. I was waiting for a friend to join the game. All of a sudden all my items appeared on the ground next to me and my charater was no longer holding his weapon and sheild and was not wearing any armour to helm. If this happens to you, you will understand.

@Topic if it were with the same person/clan and char type mebe its a private exploit known by them just givin my 2 cents
