Items creation version compatability

am juz wondring...

am using version 1.07... somehow I can't upgrade tha patches... but that not half of it..

I can't upgrade runes in the horadric cube, can't create a lotta horadric item recipes (almost none), and the rune words doesn't work on the items...

I have saved your web pages to switch while playing but none of them works...

is this a version glitch? or am totally unlucky?

uhhh did u get the Rune words from http://www.Battle.net/diablo2exp ??? or some other site cause some sites may be out of date.
