Item increase's ability

how can i make a item increase an abilities stats for example:mountain king's Lv 3 storm bolt does 450 dmg but if the mountain king is carrying this ''item'' his Lv3 storm bolt now does 600 dmg.i'm hoping someone knows a way of doin this without useing triggers?

Cannot do that unless you make a specified item for that hero that would somehow have Engineering Upgrade tied to it. I highly doubt that is possible, however.

It is in fact possible. Make an item storing an Engineering upgrade in it. Then create a copy of the Storm Bolt ability and place the copy in level 1 Engineering. If it works, when you pick up the item, you will get teh upgraded Storm Bolt. But it will only work when the hero that picks it up has that ability. Just use spheres or abilities that do nothing if you need to fill in the rest of the slots.
