Well heimdal i have succefully done it but they way it worked is the outer edge of your terrain would be sqaure. So you would have to trace over your intire map after converting it back.
I think there is another way the Bolt Heads way to turn it back, but it is a big pain in the ass. Wut I did was i erased all my terrain and make it one kind of tileset, for example water. Then if you successfully do that I think it will turn back into normal. Im not entirely sure so dont get mad if it doesnt work.
that doesn't make since because when I isom maps i first create a new map then save it and open it in isom and let it work its magic. If having all the terrain one tile set converted it back then then using isom on it wouldn't work the way i do it because i don't edit the terrain before converting the map.
It would work, actually. When you place new terrain in staredit, it re-builds the ISOM section. That's why sometimes you get weird borders after going over terrain twice after using ISOM.
The best prog for square terrain is scmdraft u dont get n e gay S*** like half a square.
u set it for normal, rectangle, square.
I highly recoment this program
Extremely useful
isom sucks a**
