Is this useful at all?

I was in a game the other day and I guy told me he could dupe. I figured that he was just a scammer, especially when he said that he couldn't dupe pretty much anything except valuble items. His dupe method involved putting an item in your merc's inventory and using mh to lag yourself. Then you triple click and *voila* a dupe. However it justs creates a picture of the item and when he started telling me that you needed to "hex-edit" your merc to "extract" the dupe, I knew he was a scammer. I'm not asking anyone to validate whether this is a working dupe method or not. I'm not asking for flames (please guys, flames get soooo old). I'm just asking if anyone has any useful application from a hacking/scamming standpoint of being able to create an item picture in your merc's inventory. PS: I already tried in my inventory and in the trade window. It doesn't work, otherwise I'd have the best trade scam around

That does not work. It simply creates an image of the item on your merc that you cannot move, and it SHOWS it as your stats going up for your merc, but it doesn't. Simply a client-side image.

Yes, it is client side. Just because of lag. I >>HIGHLY<< doubt there is any way to use that.

well yea dont do tat with a valuable item n a high lvl merc..... da stats r gone for da weapon n u cant remove it or replace it

not a dupe method, just an image that seems to show the stats still on your merc. sadly it doesn't work and it literally is just an 'image'.

it could be used in scamming possibly though??? since you can make the merc stats look super super crazy by repeating numorus times.

you might be able to get some scam out of it all, but i prefer the legit way...
