i seem to have gotten an email that isn't mine.....
someone named ALX sent an email to someone with almost an the exact same email address as me, and even thought it was sent to a different address i got it.

should i click the link that buddy sent?
it has something to do with women

this is pretty much what was sent, but i left out some of the info and fixed the address so no one can look at it.

There are tons of email spam tricks out there.
The one I hate the most is when I get an email in my Hotmail box addressed from my own Yahoo box.
I changed my yahoo passwords after scanning for trojans and such, and still got them.
I asked Yahoo and they said someone was spoofing my address.
Now that I have this server I found out how to do it, but I'm not about to tell how.

Sometimes mail servers seem to fudge the address and send it to the closest match.
Considering I get returned mail if I leave out 1 letter it seems wierd that spam goes through.

A word of caution, if you open such mail, at least have your personal options set to not receive the graphics.
No I'm not trying to keep prying eyes away from porn.
Sometimes they can track the graphics and get your actual email address.
Then they will send out that much more directly to you while sharing your email with other sites, and it will be everything imaginable from dating services to software scams.

i have a sympatico account.. the only email i get is from friends.. i never get spam.
i clicked everything because i'm too damn curious for my own good and it says my security setting are too high... i won't be lowering them anytime soon.

I too get these random emails. Of girls or supposidly girls and they do this stuff. Asking for fun, and where I love. Stupid Yahoo Memeber Directory. One time I got an email form a 45 year old.....*shivers*

The amount of spam i get is overwhelming, so i just have certain key words containted within email auto delete them. Still its annoying to have to sit through the recieving of 150 emails a day, for maybe 2 non-spam emails.

In my mailbox (well, my old one) I would get upwards to 1.5k per day, It was the shit
