Took me a month to recover from my 7 months abstinance. Haven't played much since WoW came out and i can already feel my skills deteriorating.Master_America said:I don't find that time affects skill much in FPS games. It usually only takes a few minutes to get it back, and a lot of other games can often make FPS games even easier. With Counter-Strike, the only reason your skill would dwindle would be because an update is released that changes something dramatically (like a netcode change or changes in spray patterns).
And I play CS by ear, never without sound. I refuse to play CS without a good pair of headphones. It's just a habit of mine. Although I'm sure playing without sound can help in many aspects of CS gaming, I wouldn't find it much of an advantage.
Yeah I've gotten worse since I've been playing WoW.do anyone else get this?
If you dont play CS for a while:
-You become a nub
-You cant do HS
-You cant jump
If you dont play CS without sounds:
-You get knifed, backstabbed, walled.
Not really. I played CS a lot and I really couldn't get the hang of it. Except in one round where I killed 6 people with an MP5 ^_^. I can jump, but getting shot while jumping is annoying. And HSing is all about timing and aiming before your enemy can do the same to you.NtRik_ said:do anyone else get this?
